Vice Admiral and Mrs. R. Hari Kumar visited Akshar Centre on October 26, 2021.

The Chairperson, Mr. Hasmukhbhai Shah and trustees, Ms. Ishita Verma, Mr. Rajesh Parikh and Ms. Nisha Grover were present. Well-wisher, Mr. Rajesh Gupta and volunteer, Ms. Rupal Joshi was also at the function.

The Akshar Presentation, a visit to the classrooms, a Karate Display, Aerobics Performance and the National Anthem in Sign Language (ISL) were included in the programme.

Het Suthar, Std. 9, gave the Welcome Speech and Nazreen Pathan, Std.12, gave the Vote of Thanks.

Vice Admiral R.Hari Kumar gave a donation to Akshar and, very useful, educational material to the students.

On 08-03-2022, Mrs. Nilaben Shah visited Akshar Centre. She has volunteered to do ‘Text Adaptation’ for Gujarati text books. Nilaben Shah met all the students,trainees and staff. The students presented her a small memento. This was a photograph of her late husband, Hasmukhbhai Shah at Akshar. Hasmukhbhai was the chairperson of Akshar Trust till his demise on Dec 3,2021.

50 trainees with 4 faculty members from Shri P. K. Mehta College of Special Education, Vidyamandir Trust, Palanpur visited Akshar Trust on March 30, 2022. It was an educational visit.
